In Loving Memory of
Claudia Gonzalez
1968 – 2025

With heartfelt sorrow and deep love, we remember Claudia Gonzalez, a remarkable woman whose fierce strength, radiant spirit, and unwavering devotion shaped the lives of everyone who knew her. Claudia passed away on July 25, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love, perseverance, and grace.

Born in Juan Aldama, Zacatecas, Mexico, as the second eldest daughter, Claudia was raised alongside 11 siblings in a household where hard work and sacrifice were everyday lessons. From a young age, she stepped into a caregiver role, helping raise her brothers and sisters with a maturity far beyond her years.

Claudia came to the United States with a heart full of hope, determined to build a life of opportunity—for herself, and more importantly, for her family. When her husband became disabled, Claudia stepped forward without hesitation, becoming the family’s sole provider and unshakable foundation. No matter the challenge, she carried her responsibilities with quiet dignity and an open heart, never letting hardship dim her light.

For the past 15 years, Claudia worked as a housekeeper at Texas Christian University, where her admirable work ethic, kindness, and gentle presence left a lasting impression. She was known for helping students practice their Spanish, offering a listening ear, and lending a hand to anyone in need. Claudia’s purple ran deep—not
just through her own service, but also through the pride she carried for her two children who graduated from TCU.

She is survived by her loving husband, Jose Luis Gonzalez, and her three beloved children: Luis Adrian Gonzalez, Samantha Vallejo, and Edgar Gonzalez, who were the center of her world. Claudia raised them with steady hands and a humble heart, always putting their needs above her own. She guided them with a tenacity to pursue their
dreams, and the wisdom and love to see those dreams through.

Rest peacefully, Claudia.
You were the heart of your home and the soul of your family.
Your love lives on in every step they take.
